PAAFE BURSARY PROGRAM
Those with past and resent involvement in prostitution can apply for a PAAFE Bursary established at Grant MacEwan Community College. The bursary is a good example of hope in action because it assists survivors of prostitution to achieve their personal and educational goals. It can be a motivator for those who are still immersed in poverty, violence and addictions of street prostitution.
Client Support Fund
Poverty is a major factor for those who are trying to make changes. This fund provides money for bus tickets, baby needs, health needs, used furniture, house cleaning supplies, laundry soap and other basic needs. Over $105, 000 has been directed through PAAFE's frontline partners.
Counseling & Recovery Fund
It takes a lot of hard work to recover from violence, abuse, degradation and addiction that are a part of life on the streets. PAAFE partners with Pastoral Counseling Group and others to provide this service. Funds are also available for addictions recovery programs when no other sponsor can be found.
